    President & CEO – Layla A. Hollender

    Ms. Hollender is an accomplished business executive with over 35 years of financial services experience, from international banking to investment banking, project and trade structure finance, as well as various domestic specialty finance products and services. Ms. Hollender has held various positions in international banking, with geographical responsibilities from South America to Europe. In 1990, Layla was a cofounder of Saenz Hofmann Financial, a boutique merchant bank specializing in sovereign and corporate debt advisory services, as well as trade finance and Governmental export/import programs.

    In 2010 Ms. Hollender founded TradeRiver USA, a non-bank online funding solution which finances trade, both cross-border and within the US. TradeRiver USA’s state of the art paperless purchasing system works by providing the Buyer, at any point in the supply chain, with a pre-approved revolving cash facility that can be used to finance trade with multiple suppliers.

    Layla received a BA from Bates College in 1978, with a double major in political science and theatre/speech. In 1981, Ms. Hollender received an MA in International Business and Economics from the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce. Ms. Hollender is fluent in five languages, including French, German, Spanish and Italian.

    Vice President – Charles Brazier

    As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TradeRiver USA, Chuck is responsible for sales and new business development.

    Mr. Brazier is a successful professional with over 30 years experience in the equipment lease and trade finance industries.  His broad experience ranges from creating strategic funding alliances, establishing organizational processes and leading organizational restructuring efforts.  Chuck’s past leadership roles in the industry include operations management, business development and strategic planning.  As a senior officer in both private and public sector corporations, Mr. Brazier has led strategic planning, managed diverse businesses, led implementation of vital credit risk policies and overseen funding/syndication policies and booking procedures.   Chuck has served as SVP, EVP and President in a variety of equipment finance companies.  In 1993, as a partner with Oakmont Financial Corporation, Chuck assisted in the successful merger of Oakmont and Heritage Credit Service Inc.  As Oakmont EVP/COO, Chuck was responsible for the establishment of a successful wholesale division, which was merged into First Sierra Financial Services, a publicly traded corporation, in 1997.  Mr. Brazier continued with First Sierra as Senior VP of the wholesales division, where he oversaw organizational restructuring, resulting in consistent multi-million dollar annual growth, year-over-year.

    Chuck is a strong advocate for on-going professional engagement within the industry and a strong supporter of professional networking and mentoring.  Mr. Brazier was affiliated with the United Association of Equipment Leasing (UNEL) where he served in many diverse capacities ranging from committee chairs to President in 2001.

    Director of Business Development – John Hollender

    Mr. Hollender oversees the development of TradeRiver USA Marketing Strategy, tactic development and marketing plan execution, with additional responsibilities for Partner development and the implementation company’s Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).

    Mr. Hollender has had a successful 35 year career in Marketing and Sales leadership roles, with fortune 500 companies, such as Honeywell and Amoco Oil Company (BP) as well as small to mid-sized entrepreneurial businesses, primarily in downstream wholesale and retail petroleum development, the retail gasoline and convenience store business and Commercial Real Estate acquisition and development.

    In 2009 Mr. Hollender formed his own consulting business, advising clients in the areas of his career expertise, including wholesale and retail petroleum business, real estate and business acquisition and sale, business restructuring and finance, which included the negotiation of Forbearance agreements with secured lenders on his clients behalf.

    John received a BA from Valparaiso University in 1980 with a double Major in Psychology and Sociology.  Mr. Hollender went on to receive his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola University of Chicago, Quinlin Business School in 1988 with a Major in Marketing and Minor in Finance.

    Chief Credit Officer – Larry Schaad

    Larry Schaad is an experienced finance professional having over 20 years in commercial banking and over 10 years in corporate treasury. Prior to his recent experience providing financial consulting advice, Larry was Divisional Treasurer at LNR Partners LLC on Miami Beach and Corporate Treasurer with Danka Business Systems plc in St. Petersburg, FL.  Larry’s banking experience began in the early 1980’s with Chicago based Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company and went on to include relationship management and credit underwriting positions with Bank of America and Raymond James Bank. While currently residing in Miami, Larry’s work has allowed him to live in Saint Petersburg, FL, London, England, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, and Dallas and Houston, TX. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.

    Accountant – Diane Chambers

    Diane joined TradeRiver USA in April 2016 and handles all accounting and cash management functions.  She has a BBA in Finance from the University of Miami.  Diane has years of experience working in Corporate Finance with international concerns, such as the newbuild construction department at Royal Caribbean, coordinating with staff in Norway, France and Germany.

    Operations Manager – Sergei Sementsov

    Sergei joined TradeRiver USA in 2013 as a consultant and transitioned to operations in 2016. He received a MA degree in International Studies from University of Denver and a BA degree in Linguistics from Minsk State Linguistic University (Belarus). Sergei previously worked as a PR/Communications Manager for the United Nations Development Programme in Belarus and in the International Relations Department of the Belarusian Parliament.
